The staff promised to take us to the port early in the...

The staff promised to take us to the port early in the morning and nobody came when we waited in the reception. We had to walk, because no tricycle has access to the acomodation. Unreliability!

What was the highlight of Kalinga Beach Resort

Relax stay with very nice staff

Very nice location, beach front with a very nice swimming pool and far from the noisy town so you can enjoy and relax by the pool. The staff was helpful and very friendly

It wasn't easy to find the resort, if you have heavy bags you have to walk 10/15 mins along the beach and, if you will arrive late at night it will be dark and looks scary. The resort is not well advertised along the way so you will not be sure that you going in the right direction. The price is a bit too high for the accommodation, there are luxury hostels for a cheaper price with a private ensuite room.

Really good resort and quiet place

Every thing was really good , staff was so nice . the resort is just 10 min walk from the town centre and a free taxi can drop off and pick up you until 10 pm it's amazing , but I think is better to stay around 10 min walk as we don't get the noise from all the club , bar and motorbike so if you like a quiet place is definitely here you must spend your time in el Nido

Maybe miss a bar but you can still buy cold beer just on front of the resort for 1,30 aud

What was the highlight of Kalinga Beach Resort

Outstanding hospitality.

Nice no frills hotel with small chalet type huts, had a tuk tuk type service to and from the hotel to the main resort available at all times very helpful very friendly staff who will bend over backwards to help you out. We had a six am ferry to catch which was before breakfast so they made us a packed breakfast and a tuk tuk to the port. Outstanding hospitality. Great view from the breakfast area.

Wifi was only in the breakfast area and was pretty poor, no fridge in room we had which is pretty much a necessity nowadays.

We had a wonderful stay at Kalinga Beach Resort.

We had a wonderful stay at Kalinga Beach Resort. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The daily breakfast was very tasty. The tuk tuk rides are very convenient and will take you into town for no charge. They will take you to beaches for a small fee. Our kids loved swimming in the pool.

The facilities are older and could use an update, but we still enjoyed our stay! If you are used to sleeping with a blanket, they only provide sheets but I think this is customary in Palawan.

The place was as expected for the price, ( price was great).

The place was as expected for the price, ( price was great). They had free tricycle service to town and the driver was always on time. Breakfast was included There is a convenient store at the end of the droveqa

Communication with staff could have been better. We didn't know how they charged for beers or water, we were just expected to help our self from the fridge. When we got the motorcycle for the day it was almost empty, after filling it ourselves she let another couple take it to town which was kind of annoying. There was no food/ restaurant except for breakfast

Lovely staff

Staff were all amazing. Great air con room very clean and comfortable and they provide a free tuk tuk to and from the main part of el nido but it was also a nice walk. Lovely pool area would definitely stay here again.

Helpful and probably nice people but the feel was a little off :( even so there were all quite helpful and we had a relatively good stay. But still wouldn’t come back again :(

The Resort was badly maintened... At times it looked it was all falling apart. Beach at the resort is useless so you need about 15 min with a motor bike to Vanilla beach and 40 min to Nacpan beach... both are real heaven :)

What was the highlight of Kalinga Beach Resort

Great experience so far even if our ferry ride to Coron has been cancelled due to the bad weather.

The staff and owner are very accomodating. It's just a bit far from town but the staff are more than willing to give us a ride daily until the beach part. :)
